HR Advisor

HR Recruit is currently seeking an experienced HR Professional for an HR Advisor role based in Blantyre. Reporting into a Senior Director you will have accountability for an HR Administrator. The purpose of the role is to provide HR advice, support, administration and oversee the company training elements and training administration. Role Responsibilities

Provide HR advice, support and training to the business

HR administration, completion of all letters to employees

Policy Updates / Creation

Recruitment of all employees, including Job Descriptions,

Interviewing and appointment

Contract of employments

Onboarding new employees

Induction processes

Undertaking investigations and disciplinaries

Minute taking for HR meetings

Absence Management

Any other HR duties required

Training - oversee the training aspects within the company. Help with grant funding and the booking of training

Person Specification

Must have previous HR experience

Time management and organisation skills

Confidentiality

Influencing skills

Integrity and organisational commitment

Ability to meet tight deadlines

Good eye for detail

Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Ability to multi-task

The role is predominantly office based at the Glasgow Depot, however, occasionally there may be a requirement to travel to other regional offices or attend seminars and events. In return, you will receive a salary of between £35,000-£42,000, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays plus discretionary bonus.
