About the Role

As Technical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and innovation within the food industry. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team in an ever-evolving and sustainable business environment. The role will be very much factory focused.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, certifications, and retailer requirements.
• Oversee product quality - driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their technical and quality expectations are exceeded.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with food safety, environmental, traceability, and health & safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and address technical challenges.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices, bringing innovative ideas to the business.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a technical or quality management role within the food industry
• Proven management skills - this role will lead a team of 7 QAs and a QA Administrator
• Strong knowledge of compliance standards and retailer requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• A good level certification in food safety
