Shift Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Shift Engineer to join our team at Wilde, where you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of our aparthotels across Europe.

Qualifications

  • Previous relevant experience and some knowledge of country/property specific maintenance, safety, and health regulations in a similar environment or property/hotel is preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

  • Support the Chief Engineer with planned maintenance checks and take a hands‑on approach to reactive maintenance.
  • Deliver daily, weekly and monthly safety checks and ensure everything is in working order in apartments and public areas.
  • Participate in preventive and curative maintenance of premises and equipment while promoting internal measures to protect the environment.
  • Assist in managing stocks, equipment and supplies for the department.
  • Ensure compliance with current safety procedures and control the condition of the building, technical equipment, and all safety and alarm systems.
  • Report and mitigate all potential and real hazards immediately.
  • Help resolve complaints in collaboration with the Chief Engineer and General Manager.
  • Act as the brand ambassador for Wilde, showing enthusiasm, energy, and flair.
  • Pursue excellence daily, set ambitious goals, and exceed them.
  • Seek opportunities to innovate and improve, driving success.
  • Foster a culture of respect, inclusivity, and kindness, ensuring everyone feels valued.
  • Engage with the community through local charity events and initiatives.
