This is an opportunity to combine technical expertise with creativity, solving real engineering challenges while contributing to products enjoyed by players globally.Whether you're refining existing designs, developing new PCB architectures, or identifying root causes within complex systems, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions that make a real impact.We're looking for people who are full of ideas, want to challenge the norm and work to our core values… Dare to be Bold - We always bring courage to work to reach for the unbelievable. Uphold Integrity - We promote accountability and respect to raise the bar for ourselves and the industry. Never Settle - We relentlessly push forward to create the extraordinary in every detail. Celebrate Perspectives - We combine diverse talent to look at the familiar in unfamiliar ways. Win as a Team – We bring out the best in each other to share collective success. What You'll DoDesign and deliver high-quality PCB, electronic, and electromechanical solutions that meet technical, project, and business requirements.Develop digital and analogue circuits, including MCUs, power regulation, communication interfaces, and LED driver systems.Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, Gerbers, and engineering records.Develop and debug firmware for microcontrollers and other programmable devices.Diagnose and resolve complex board-level issues, providing root cause analysis and design improvement recommendations.Review PCB layouts to ensure performance, manufacturability, EMC compliance, signal integrity, and reliability.Support component selection, qualification, and lifecycle management, including alternatives for EOL and long lead-time parts.Drive products from concept to production and beyond, using PLM systems, applying DFM principles for mass manufacture, and proactively managing component obsolescence and EOL risks.Design, test, and troubleshoot interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, RS232, and RS485.Partner with cross-functional teams to take products from concept through validation and into production.Contribute ideas that improve product performance, quality, cost efficiency, and manufacturability.What You'll BringStrong understanding of analogue and digital circuit design, including MCUs, power regulation, communication interfaces, and embedded systems.Hands-on experience with PCB design tools such as Altium, schematic capture, layout review, and technical documentation.Experience debugging complex electronic systems, performing board-level fault analysis, and identifying root causes.Familiarity with high-speed measurement techniques, EMC compliance, signal integrity, and electronic design best practices.Knowledge of component selection, lifecycle management, and alternative sourcing for EOL and long lead-time components.Experience designing and troubleshooting interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, RS232, and RS485.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.QualificationsDegree or HNC/D in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline, with proven experience designing PCB-based electronic systems.How You'll Grow Broaden your technical expertise across electronics design, embedded systems, and next-generation gaming technologies.Gain hands-on experience taking products from concept through development, testing, and production.Learn from a collaborative team of engineers and contribute to products enjoyed by players around the world.What can we offer you?Annual performance bonus25 days’ holiday plus bank holidaysHybrid working (4 days in the office)Up to 8% employer pension contributionsPrivate medical insuranceRemote GP access1 day off for charitable work1 day off for your birthday or personal celebrationHalf Day for Health (dedicated time for your wellbeing)Employee Share Purchase PlanReward platform with cycle-to-work scheme and discounts/cashbackElective benefits (Tastecard, travel, dental, Give As You Earn)Study supportEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)SummaryLocation: Chadderton, United KingdomType: Full time
