Full Stack Developer (Java/Javascript)

Our client is a leading technology and communications organisation focused on developing innovative digital, connectivity and next-generation technology solutions. We are looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to join a product-focused engineering team. You will be involved in designing and developing scalable applications and services, working across both backend and frontend technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance scalable software applications and backend services

Design and build APIs and modular microservices

Develop web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks

Work on system design, performance and reliability improvements

Integrate applications with internal and external systems

Implement automated testing and CI/CD practices

Work with cloud and containerized environments

Collaborate with product, engineering and business teams on new solutions

Requirements

Strong experience in Java (Java 17 or higher) and Spring Boot

Front end experience in HTML/CSS and JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Vue)

Experience with microservices and REST APIs

Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging technologies

Experience with Mongo DB/ Elasticsearch/ Cassandra and SQL databases

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD

Understanding of scalable, distributed application architecture

Experience developing enterprise-level software products

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Experience working in an Agile environment
