If you're an experienced Teaching Assistant who wants to play a meaningful role in helping pupils reach their potential, we're currently recruiting for a long-term opportunity in Rickmansworth.

You'll join a welcoming and supportive educational setting where support staff are valued and work closely with teachers to create the best possible learning environment for pupils.

Your Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll help pupils to feel confident, supported and engaged in their learning.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

Supporting pupils during lessons and activities

Working with individuals and small groups

Helping children overcome barriers to learning

Supporting teachers with classroom activities

Encouraging positive behaviour and participation

Helping pupils develop independence and confidence

Providing social and emotional support

Identifying individual needs and adapting your approach

Developing positive relationships with pupils

Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff

Promoting a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Experienced in working with children

Passionate about education and pupil development

Patient, approachable and empathetic

A confident communicator

Positive and professional

Reliable and committed

Comfortable working as part of a wider team

Proactive in identifying ways to support pupils

Able to travel to Rickmansworth
