Sales Engineer

Location: Hook

Salary: £50,000 + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Sales Engineer with a passion for technical products, customer relationships and winning business?

We’re looking for a driven Sales Engineer to join our growing team, taking responsibility for developing sales across the UK while supporting our European agent network.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise, consultative selling and business development in a specialist market, working with sophisticated laboratory and engineering customers.

What you'll be doing

Growing sales across the UK and developing new customer accounts.

Managing and converting a strong pipeline of complex opportunities.

Building long-term relationships with technical customers and key decision-makers.

Providing technical presentations, product demonstrations and tailored solutions.

Supporting and developing our European sales agents.

Attending customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events across the UK and Europe.

Developing specialist knowledge of geotechnical testing and our technical products.

Feeding market and competitor insight back into the business.

What we're looking for

You'll have a proven track record in complex technical equipment sales , ideally with 5–7 years' experience and a history of achieving £500K+ annual sales targets .

You'll be:

Commercially driven and motivated by winning business.

Confident selling to technical and senior decision-makers.

A strong relationship builder with a consultative approach.

Technically curious and keen to learn.

Comfortable managing longer sales cycles and complex projects.

Happy to travel extensively across the UK and Europe (50%+).

Experience in scientific instrumentation, laboratory equipment, testing equipment, engineering, construction or geotechnical markets would be highly advantageous.

What's on offer?

£50,000 salary

25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

38-hour working week

3pm finish every Friday
