M/S Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

Engineering and Scientific Recruitment Specialists

Our Client is Seeking to Recruit an Addition to the Maintenance Team, who will be Responsible for Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance, System Breakdowns, and Defect Repair

This is a Permanent, Shift Based Role, located in the West Midlands

ROLE

  • Maintaining High Volume Picking Machinery via Planned Maintenance Schedules with Responsibility for Maintenance of All Other Ancillary Equipment
  • Diagnosis and Repair of Electrical, Mechanical and Pneumatics Components
  • Immediate Response to Any Breakdowns to the Production Equipment
  • Updating Records of All Maintenance Work, Defect Repair and On-Site Spares
  • Assist in Supervision and Control of All Site Based Mechanical and/or Electrical Operations
  • Identifying Re-Occurring Issues through Data Analysis and Implementation of Change
  • Generation of Appropriate Paperwork In-Line with Company Procedures and Work Instructions
  • Logging and Monitoring of Spare Parts Used and/or Required
  • Engagement with Contractors, Including Obtaining and Providing Permits to Work, Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Undertaking Training at Other UK Locations and Providing Technical Training where Required
  • Adherence to Strict Health and Safety Policies
  • Educated to GCSE Level C or Above
  • Electrical Qualifications to NVQ L3 or Above
  • Good Practical Knowledge and Experience of Equipment Maintenance, (Mechanical, Electrical and Pneumatic)
  • Good Working Knowledge of Automated Equipment
  • Experience of Root Cause Analysis and Contribution to Continuous Improvement Programmes
  • Good Understanding of Health and Safety Policies
  • Electrical/Mechanical/Pneumatic/PLC Qualifications
  • Ability to Read Schematic Diagrams
  • Experience of Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Formal Health and Safety Training

REMUNERATION

  • £51K p/a Includes Shift Allowance + Benefits
