Position Overview: We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Finance Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department in managing day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring financial integrity across all aspects of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents in a timely manner.

Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.

Assist in preparing financial reports, budget forecasts, and variance analyses.

Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and inquiries.

Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.

Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in accounting and finance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Prior experience in the construction industry is a plus.
