Restaurant Manager £35,000 - £40,000 DOE | Cotswolds Box Recruitment Group is working with a leading hospitality and leisure operator to recruit an experienced Restaurant Manager for a large, premium hotel operation in the Cotswolds. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality manager who loves being operational, enjoys developing people and thrives in a busy, high-volume environment. You'll be joining a substantial hotel and leisure operation with multiple restaurants and bars , working as part of an established management team to deliver exceptional service and memorable experiences for guests. The Role As Food & Beverage Manager, you'll take responsibility for the successful day-to-day operation of a restaurant or bar, leading from the front and ensuring consistently high standards across both service and operational performance. You'll be responsible for: Leading, motivating and developing a large Food & Beverage team.
Ensuring consistently high standards of service across your operation.
Providing a visible, hands-on management presence during busy service periods.
Coaching and developing team leaders and team members.
Managing labour and operating costs in line with agreed budgets.
Identifying opportunities to drive revenue and improve commercial performance.
Ensuring excellent operational, food safety and compliance standards.
Monitoring performance and taking action where standards aren't being achieved.
Creating a positive working environment where team members can develop and progress.
Working collaboratively with other F&B managers and the wider hotel leadership team.
Responding confidently to operational challenges and making effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Ensuring the guest experience remains at the heart of the operation.
About You We're looking for an experienced hospitality manager who combines strong people leadership with commercial awareness. You'll ideally have: Previous management experience within hotels, restaurants, bars, resorts or another high-volume hospitality environment .
Experience leading and developing a large customer-facing team.
Strong Food & Beverage operational knowledge.
Experience managing labour and operating costs against budget.
Good commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities to increase sales.
A confident and engaging leadership style.
The ability to coach, motivate and develop managers and team members.
High standards and the confidence to challenge when those standards aren't being achieved.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
The ability to remain calm and make decisions during demanding service periods.
Experience within a large hotel, resort, holiday park, conference venue or multi-outlet hospitality operation would be particularly attractive. What's on Offer?
