Job Description

A leading infrastructure and engineering business is looking to appoint a Planner to support the delivery of engineering and maintenance activities at a major gas terminal in north east Scotland.

The role will support the planning and coordination of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive works and engineering activities, ensuring resources are effectively scheduled and works are delivered within agreed timescales and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and schedule PPM and reactive maintenance activities

* Coordinate engineer workloads, resources, site access, materials and spares

* Produce forward plans and engineer schedules to maximise productivity

* Monitor SLAs and identify, escalate and mitigate at-risk or delayed works

* Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Compliance and subcontractor teams

* Coordinate internal outages and changing operational requirements

* Maintain accurate job records and planning information within CAFM / asset management systems

* Support subcontracting decisions, purchase orders and resource planning

* Identify opportunities to improve planning efficiency and reduce delays

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

* Previous experience in planning, scheduling or coordination

* Experience planning work for engineers, technicians or field-based teams

* A background in engineering, maintenance, utilities, energy, infrastructure or facilities management

* Experience managing PPM and reactive works

* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills

* Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6

* Experience using CAFM, CMMS or asset management systems

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

Experience within gas, energy, utilities, industrial maintenance or critical infrastructure would be advantageous.
