Then get in touch! We are recruiting an exciting position for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients working in the Dursley area.
The Role:
Youll be responsible for keeping our plant and equipment running safely and efficiently, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
Working closely with the Production team, youll help improve equipment reliability, reduce waste and drive continuous improvement across the site. Youll take ownership of electrical systems, ensure safety standards are met and support root cause investigations following significant breakdowns. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. This is a shift-based role (NO NIGHTS), reporting to the Engineering Manager.
Experience/Qualifications
NVQ level 3 qualified or similar
Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent
Strong knowledge of manufacturing automated equipment & processes including pneumatic, hydraulic, and instrumentation-controlled systems
Strong diagnostic experience gained in high volume manufacturing or process environment
Experience within a similar role ideally gained within a food manufacturing environment, if not food, experience within any manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
Electrically or biased, or multi-skilled.
PLC experience highly desirable.
Experience of SAP highly desirable.
