Job Description

We are working alongside an established M&E contractor who are in search of a Contracts Manager to join their team. Established over 30 years ago, our client offers the complete package for design and installation of electrical and mechanical building services projects. You would have exposure to large scale projects across large scale Residential/Student Residential and Commercial projects with values ranging from £2m - £15m M&E.

This role will see you working on the operational side where you will be based out of their North East office but will be required to visit sites across the North East, North West, Yorkshire and Scotland - all travel/ accomodation will be paid for. You will be working amongst a strong team with a Project Manager reporting into you and you will work closely with the Directors of the business.

Responsibilities

This role involves overseeing project contracts

* Managing supplier relationships

* Ensuring performance/compliance

* Leading contract lifecycles (tenders, negotiation, execution, review)

* Managing risks

* Stakeholder liaison

* Financial oversight

This position will require you to run projects independently and oversee projects from afar with direct reports onsite including project managers, site teams, direct & external labour.

Experience in operational delivery, financial reporting and stakeholder liaison is essential for this position.
