Credit Controller

Senior Credit Controller (Interim) 3 months initially

Location: Datchet (5 days office-based) Contract: 3 months initially Pay: £17.00-£20.00 per hour + holiday pay (DOE) Start: ASAP

We are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join a busy finance team on an interim basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong accounting background who is equally confident managing complex credit control and high-volume account reconciliations.

Reconciliations are essential for this position, so we're looking for someone who has extensive experience resolving ledger discrepancies and ensuring customer accounts are accurate.

Responsibilities:

End-to-end credit control

Chasing outstanding debt via phone, email and written correspondence

Performing complex customer account reconciliations

Investigating and resolving invoice and payment quires with internal stakeholders

Allocating cash and maintaining accurate customer accounts

Producing aged debt and debtor reports for management

Escalating overdue accounts

Supporting continuous improvements across credit control processes

We need:

Proven Credit control experience

Strong accounting background with excellent reconciliation skills

Confident handling high-volume sales ledger and complex account quires

Experience using Sage (ideal)

Advanced Excel skills
