Waking Nights & Sleep-Ins | October Start

Educare Recruitment are currently recruiting Full-Time Mental Health Support Workers to support individuals across a range of mental health care packages in Plymouth and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for caring and committed Support Workers looking to build a long-term career within mental health and social care , with excellent opportunities for training, development and progression.

The Role

You will provide person-centred support to individuals with mental health needs, helping them maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

Every package is different, and you'll work closely with the individual, their support team and other professionals to provide consistent, high-quality care.

The role can involve supporting individuals with daily living, community activities, emotional wellbeing and developing independence.

What You'll Be Doing

Providing person-centred mental health support

Supporting individuals with daily living and independence

Providing emotional and practical support

Supporting community access and activities

Encouraging independence, confidence and wellbeing

Following individual care and support plans

Supporting individuals to achieve personal goals

Working alongside colleagues and other professionals

Completing accurate records and handovers

Maintaining a safe, positive and supportive environment

Hours & Pay

£13.50 per hour

Full-time, part time and day to day hours

Waking night shifts

Sleep-in shifts

Permanent opportunities

Starting October 2026
