The Role:

Provide direction and management to a growing team (currently approx. 20) of Postdoc Scientists, Engineers & Technicians

Drive process development within the technology, such as cell fabrication, stack optimisation, trials & product development

Continue to expand and develop the team and technical facilities

Who are we looking for?

A credible and experienced people manager with demonstrable management expertise spanning across at least two of the following areas: ⤵

Electrochemical Systems

Materials Science

Chemical Engineering

Electrical Engineering

PhD Level, preferably also a Chartered Engineer

At least 10 years' experience working within applied science or engineering R&D teams

At least 5 of those years should be within in an R&D management role, either for an SME or the innovation division of a larger company

Experience or understanding of developing electrical energy storage technologies is highly desirable
