The successful MET Fitter will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical and bodywork repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety standards are met. Duties of a MET Technician:

• Conduct mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated vehicles
• Dismantling, fault-finding, diagnostics, and re-assembly with new parts
• Perform inspections and testing to ensure vehicle safety and quality standards
• Identify faults or additional work required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Carry out road tests in a safe and legal manner to confirm repairsMaintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail

Requirements of a MET Technician:

• Proven experience as an MET Fitter or similar role within an accident repair environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
• Good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently within a team
• Ability to multitask and manage workload effectively
• ATA accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential
• Full driving licence
