Teaching Assistant - SEN Unit | Primary School | Victoria, Westminster, Central London

Teaching Assistant - SEN Unit | Full-Time | September 2026 - July 2027

Location: Victoria, Westminster, Central London

Pay: £90-£110 per day

Hours: Monday-Friday | 8:30am-4:00pm

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive mainstream primary school? We are recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in Victoria, Westminster , working within a specialist SEN Unit supporting children across EYFS and KS1 .

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant who enjoys making a real difference to children with additional needs while working alongside an experienced and caring team.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant , you will:

Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) , including Autism (ASD) and ADHD

Work both 1:1 and with small groups of pupils

Deliver targeted interventions to support learning and development

Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment

Work within a small SEN class of no more than 8 pupils

Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists and the wider school team

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a Teaching Assistant who has:

At least 1 year's experience supporting children with complex needs

Experience in a school , tuition , or nannying environment

A calm, patient and proactive approach

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
