Accounts Payable Assistant

Oldbury

Accounts Payable Assistant required for a new and exciting permanent position, working for a small friendly company based in Oldbury with a view to start immediately. You will be working as part of a small finance team and be solely responsible for the day to day running of the accounts payable function processing up to 400 invoices on a monthly basis. Your daily duties will include matching batching and coding invoices, processing supplier payments by BACs on a weekly basis, reconciling supplier statements, resolving supplier queries, reconciling company credit cards, processing employee expenses and providing cover for other areas within accounts as and when required. My client is ideally looking for an experienced accounts assistant who can take ownership of the accounts payable function whilst assisting with other areas within finance. You will ideally have excellent interpersonal skills, have a positive can do attitude and have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. My client is a small but well established business based in Oldbury with an open and friendly culture. This business offer a lovely open plan working environment, a real family friendly culture, 25 days annual leave, 37.5 hours per week, pension scheme and company bonus. This will be an office based role to start with you so will ideally need to be local to the Oldbury area and my client is also open to candidates looking for part time work.
