SOFTWARE ENGINEER
£35,000 - £40,000
Hybrid - 2 days on-site in Newark
C# / .NET / ReactJS / Azure / SQL Server / REST APIs
THE ROLE
A growing, product-led software business is looking for a Software Engineer to join its Product Development team on a hybrid basis (two days a week on-site in Newark). This is a genuine blend of hands-on development and support - you'll spend your time writing, debugging and improving code, delivering new features and automations, and stepping in to troubleshoot live issues when they arise. Because you'll be dealing directly with internal teams, customers and technology partners, you'll need to be as comfortable explaining a fix to a non-technical stakeholder as you are writing it.
It's a great fit for someone humble, hardworking and eager to learn - the kind of engineer who's genuinely passionate about tech, keeps an eye on new advancements, and wants to work somewhere they can grow across the full software lifecycle.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a well-established, product-led software business serving a growing international customer base across multiple markets and time zones. Their platforms are cloud-based and built on a modern Microsoft stack, and they operate in a fast-moving environment where up-to-date tooling - including AI-assisted coding platforms - is actively encouraged.
