Frontend Developer

An opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team within the National Security space, based in London.

The work directly supports law enforcement and government agencies tackling organised crime, online exploitation and child protection. The systems built here are used to help protect vulnerable people and support critical investigations.

This is meaningful engineering in complex, high-impact environments.

The Role

You’ll be part of an empowered DevOps team developing secure, modern web applications that support mission-critical capabilities.

You will:

• Build responsive, accessible and secure user interfaces
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, backend engineers and end users
• Integrate with backend APIs in cloud-native environments
• Contribute to testing, performance optimisation and secure coding best practice
• Play an active role across the software delivery lifecycle

This is a hands-on role suited to engineers who enjoy solving complex problems and building reliable systems that need to perform under pressure.

What They’re Looking For

• Solid understanding of DOM, CSS and accessibility standards
• Experience with bundlers such as Webpack or Rollup
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest
• Understanding of secure coding and Agile delivery

Desirable: TypeScript, Cypress/Playwright, backend API integration.
