Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning experiences to students with diverse SEND needs. (SEMH, ASC, SLD, MLD, ADHD)
Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student progress.
Contribute to the development and execution of individualised education plans for each student.
Support the class teacher in the delivery of the curriculum and work with students in groups or on a 1:1 as required.
Requirements:
Prior experience working with students with SEND is essential.
Patience, empathy, and adaptability.
Be nurturing and caring in your approach
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
Experience in non-verbal communication. Eg. Makaton, PECS is desirable but not essential
