Senior .NET Engineer

Overview

Location: Central London, hybrid working, 1 day a week onsite.

Duration: 6 months initially with likely extensions.

Our client are on an exciting greenfield journey to build a brand-new, cloud-native platform. You will work closely with product owners, analysts, and other engineers to shape and build a cutting-edge platform from the ground up. You will contribute to the full software lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and operation in production. They are building this platform in modern .NET and Azure PaaS.

Responsibilities

• You will work closely with product owners, analysts, and other engineers to shape and build a cutting-edge platform from the ground up.
• You will contribute to the full software lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and operation in production.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of APIs using ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, etc.
• Experience working on Event Driven Architectures and Event Sourced Architectures
• Solid understanding of distributed systems design, resilience, and cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) cloud environments.
• Proficiency in continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
• Background working in agile, autonomous development teams.
