Bookkeeper

Job Description

Excellent opportunity to join a medium sized, independent accountancy firm in Central London in a Bookkeeper role.

This is a client facing role and you will work as part of a team supporting one of the firm’s equity Partners. You will be exposed to a varied client base including those in media, entertainment and technology.

On offer is:

  • Regular team and staff events
  • Life and critical illness cover

The key duties will be:

  • Preparing accounts to TB stage
  • Sales and purchase ledger processing using Xero
  • Regular balance sheet reconciliations
  • VAT and month end reporting (including MTD submissions)
  • Offering support to clients using cloud accounting software and helping them transition from current systems
  • Training junior staff

The firm are seeking someone with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a similar role in Accountancy Practice.
