This is a fast-paced, high-volume administrative role at the centre of a national claims and conciliation process - ideal for someone with tenacity, sharp organisational instincts and genuine resilience under pressure.

About the Client

Our client is a long-established and highly respected regulated and specialist law firm who provide their clients with fully comprehensive legal advice and representation, effectively operating as an in-house legal department for each client.

The firm is the lead conciliator and arbitrator for a national conciliation service and holds standing counsel status for a major industry federation.

About the Role

You will manage the receipt, checking and verification of claim forms, working to a structured checklist to ensure claim packs are complete and ready for conciliation within set timeframes. Alongside processing new claims, you'll manage an ongoing caseload of existing claims and a high daily volume of queries.

You’ll correspond directly with claimants to chase missing information, liaise with traders under a defined process to report complaints and gather submissions, and work closely with conciliators once packs are ready, actioning any follow-up requests for additional information. The role involves extensive diary management throughout.

Administrator Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and verifying claim forms against a set checklist
• Corresponding with claimants to obtain missing information and complete claim packs
• Managing new claims alongside an ongoing caseload of existing claims and queries
• Handling a high daily volume of email queries across multiple inboxes
• Drafting own correspondence with claimants and traders
• Liaising with traders under a set process to report complaints and obtain submissions
• Liaising with conciliators once packs are ready, and actioning requests for further information
• Extensive diary management throughout the claims and conciliation process

Administrator Requirements

• Strong administrative background with excellent organisational skills
• Confident, resilient communicator, comfortable managing complaints and difficult conversations
• Able to act effectively as a go-between for clients and lawyers
• Comfortable managing high volumes of correspondence and multiple email inboxes
• Strong written communication skills and ability to draft own correspondence
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to strict timeframes
• Own vehicle required due to the rural location of the office
