Your new role
As a Community Safety Officer, you will undertake the full range of community safety duties which may vary according to the size and profile of the area, including but not limited to, street patrols, visits, attending partnership meetings, working with communities and building relationships with partners. Using prevention, early intervention education and enforcement approaches and work in accordance with BCCs policy and related procedures and in compliance with all relevant legislation, e.g. - Crime & Disorder Act, ASB (Anti-Social Behaviour) Act, regulatory codes, guidance and professional practice. To undertake investigations, build evidence packs, complete reports, and as necessary, attend court. Will play a proactive role in the provision of a multi-agency problem-solving service around victim, offender and location.
