Electronic Engineer

Derby

£40,000–55,000 + bonus

Monday to Thursday, your days will be 8am to 4pm, giving you a full break in the afternoon. Fridays are even lighter, finishing at midday.

What you'll do

You’ll take ownership of key electronic systems, applying your skills to maintain, repair, and improve them. This includes working on traction inverters, motor monitoring, and interface panels, where your expertise will directly influence reliability and performance.

Root cause investigations will give you the chance to solve complex issues and make lasting improvements. You'll also contribute to project design and data logging, expanding your technical range and keeping your work varied.

What you'll need

· At least 2 years of hands-on experience in electronic engineering

· A solid understanding of circuit board design, maintenance, or repair

· Experience with data logging or project management will give you an edge
