Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the construction of timber frame homes and a small amount of traditional built flats, ensuring top-notch quality and customer satisfaction.
Lead a team, including an Assistant Site Manager, to achieve project goals efficiently.
Report directly to the Contracts Manager, maintaining clear communication channels.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing and enforcing site safety protocols.
Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and adherence to project schedules.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets company standards.
Manage site logistics and facilities, optimizing workflow and resource allocation.
Keep detailed project records, including daily activity logs, progress reports, and incident reports.
Requirements:
Proven experience building timber frame houses with comprehensive internal and external knowledge.
Must have in date SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
Strong leadership skills, capable of thriving under pressure and leading by example.
Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
