Salary: £14.25 - £14.25 per hour

Are you a supportive and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about helping young children learn and develop?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a warm and welcoming primary school based in Treherbert. The school provides a fast-paced environment where pupils are well supported by staff and are encouraged to feel safe, secure and comfortable throughout their time in school.

The school is looking to take on a Learning Support Assistant on a long-term, full-time basis within their Nursery / Early Years provision. The class includes mainstream pupils alongside a large number of children with undiagnosed Additional Learning Needs / ALN, so previous ALN experience is essential. The successful Learning Support Assistant will provide general classroom and small group support, adapting their approach to individual needs, and candidates must be comfortable changing pupils and providing personal care when required.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Previous experience supporting children with Additional Learning Needs / ALN is essential

• Experience working with children within a Nursery, Early Years or similar educational setting

• Confidence supporting mainstream pupils and children with additional needs

• Confidence working with young children individually and in small groups

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
