Job Description

A well-established multidisciplinary construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Manager with healthcare experience, or a genuine interest in developing within the healthcare sector, to join their growing project management team. The successful Project Manager will work across a broad portfolio of projects, with healthcare forming a key part of the workload alongside opportunities to gain experience in a number of other property and construction sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who wants greater project variety and the chance to develop within a respected consultancy environment. The Project Manager will support and manage projects from early feasibility through design, procurement, construction and handover, working closely with clients and wider consultant teams. The role would suit an ambitious Project Manager looking to build on existing consultancy experience while developing stronger sector knowledge and taking on increasing responsibility.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will help manage projects through multiple RIBA stages, coordinating design teams, consultants and contractors to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities will include preparing and monitoring programmes, managing project risks, supporting procurement, attending and chairing meetings, tracking progress and producing clear client reports. The Project Manager will also help manage stakeholder expectations, change control and project documentation throughout delivery.

Alongside healthcare schemes, the Project Manager will have the opportunity to work across a number of other sectors, providing a varied workload and strong long-term development opportunities.

The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will ideally have:

Previous Project Management experience within a UK construction consultancy

Healthcare project experience or a clear interest in developing within the healthcare sector

Experience across other construction or property sectors would be advantageous

A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline

MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB qualification, or progress towards a relevant professional qualification

Experience working across multiple RIBA stages
