Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive HR services to schools within the region and Head Office.
Contribute to developing HR documents and templates, ensuring consistency and compliance.
Coach leaders in managing employee relations issues effectively.
Support schools in managing local committees and maintaining a harmonious ER environment.
Provide expert HR knowledge and project management support for change management situations.
Develop reporting processes for performance indicators and input HR data into systems.
Contribute to the implementation of pay and reward schemes and provide support on payroll-related HR issues.
Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for schools across all generalist HR areas.
Regular travel within the region and occasionally to other locations as required.
Essential Requirements:
Fully CIPD qualified or equivalent HR experience.
Experience in providing complex employee relations/generalist HR advice.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and written communication skills.
Knowledge of current HR legislation and national terms and conditions.
Desirable Requirements:
Experience working within an educational setting.
Experience with HR systems.
Training in job evaluation or psychometric assessments.
Salary & Benefits:
£40,000 - £47,000 per annum
34 days annual leave (Including Public Holidays)
Hybrid working, 1 day per week at home
This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong generalist HR experience and a passion for making a difference in education. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, as well as a solid understanding of HR employment law and legislation.
