Senior Full-Stack Software EngineerWeb, Mobile & Operational SystemsAre you an experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer able to support the development of a secure situational-awareness and operational-management platform.The role will involve developing and integrating backend services, web-based operational dashboards, graphical user interfaces and mobile application services.We are looking for someone with strong experience in:Backend/API development using Node.js/TypeScript, Python, .NET or similarModern web development using React, Next.js or comparable frameworksGUI and dashboard developmentPostgreSQL and database designAWS, Azure or equivalent cloud infrastructureAuthentication, permissions and secure application developmentReal-time data, alerts, notifications and WebSocketsMapping, geospatial data or location-based servicesIntegration with iOS applications, including push notifications and mobile APIsGit, CI/CD, testing and production deploymentExperience developing systems for security, defence, emergency services, command-and-control, incident management, GSOC/SOC environments or other operational applications would be highly desirable.The successful candidate should be able to take operational requirements and translate them into secure, intuitive and reliable technical solutions.Experience: Strong proven experience in commercial software development experience.Engagement: Full-time role, permanent, contract or project-based arrangements considered.Location: This role is based in Oxford and whilst hybrid, requires you to be on-site on a weekly basis.
