Responsibilities of the Proposal Manager
* Be responsible for public and private tenders and proposals, in any of our sectors* Lead the proposal team within the sector comprising: Business Development, Operations, Solution Design, Project Management, Finance, IT, HR and Commercial through the defined Proposal Management process* Write and design articulate, concise customer-centric proposals, presentations and other documents as required* Manage the end-to end production of proposal documents and ensure that all proposals are completed on time with full compliance to the requirements of the customer needs and specifications* Track and manage key outputs, actions and clarifications throughout the proposal process* Lead Tender Reviews Meetings to drive collaborative sessions with the proposal team
Skills required for the Proposal Manager
* Strong proposal management experience in the public and private sector* Articulate, with strong verbal and presentation skills* A proficient user of Microsoft Office, in particular PowerPoint and Word* Experience operating at a senior level and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders* Strong organisational skills as well as the ability to plan and manage resources* Comfortable working to challenging deadlines, with the ability to adapt to change at short notice* Experience in the field of supply chain logistics and external bid training
