Support market researchtounderstand market requirements for new product development.
Identifying the needs of the company and integrating market research to determine the needs and goals of newproducts.
Conceptualizing new product ideas by using CAD software to design prototypes.
Lead the testing ofproducts throughout the design process to troubleshoot any potential problems.
Lead the sourcing on different materials, design tolerances, and other factors to find the best ones that suit the new product brief.
Lead the delivery product specifications and procedures for prototype manufacture, assemble andtesting.
Analyzingexisting products to identify areas for improvement and updating current documentation.
Implementation of engineering systems and controls
Product Development Engineer Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree inEngineering or a related field.
AMaster's degree in Engineering may be advantageous.
Previous experience in product protoypedevelopment.
Industry-specific product experience may be advantageous.
Good workingknowledge of mechanicaldesign, fluid dynamicsdesign, materials, and quality control protocols.
Experiencewith3D modeling softwareand report writing programs.
Strongcommunication and teamwork skills.
Excellent math,creativity, and problem-solving skills.
