Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive primary school in Chelmsford, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young learners and looking to develop their career within a nurturing school environment that offers strong mentorship and ongoing professional development.

The school is looking for a committed practitioner with effective behaviour management skills and a genuine desire to inspire and support pupils across the primary age range.

CONTRACT DETAILS

Location - Chelmsford
Position - Teaching Assistant
Type of work - Classroom support
Start date - ASAP
Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
Full time/part-time - Full time
Rate of pay - £90-£100 per day (depending on experience)
Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience supporting children in a UK primary school (placements accepted)
Relevant TA training or qualifications desirable
Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
Provide two professional child-related references OTHER INFORMATION
