Machine OperatorOur client is a machining manufacturer dealing with precision metal tubing.Machine Operator1st shift: M-F, 7am-3pm - $21.50/hour2nd shift: M-F, 3pm-11pm - $22.75/hour3rd shift: S-Th - $24/hourResponsibilities:Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.)Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)Inspect parts with precision and measuring toolsPerforms visual inspection both unaided and using magnification devicesPerforms various dimensional inspection using specific dies or gauges, or dimensional inspection systems and micrometers.Test operation of machines periodicallyFix issues that might occur during the shiftCheck output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flawsKeep records of approved and defective units or final productsMaintain activity logsReceive customer supplied and/or purchased materials, including proper labeling, handling and movement of materials and paperworkPrevious machine operation experience a plus!
