Advanced Manufacturing (Sheffield) Limited (AML) is an advanced machining supplier focused on aerofoil and rotative components. We are at the leading edge of machining technologies and are dedicated to delivering efficiency and reduced cycle times for our clients in the aerospace sector.

Our advanced milling, turning and 5-axis capacity enables us to machine a wide range of products including bespoke ring, casing, gearbox, aerofoil and aerostructure components. To-Date, we have manufactured components for Rolls-Royce, Boeing, Siemens, Bombardier and are looking to expand out Machining capabilities over the coming year.

The Position

• Manage the NPI process through all aspects of the project.
• Create projects plans that align with the business and project delivery.
• Create detailed scoping and team briefing notes to ensure maximum engagement.
• Manage continues improvement activities to support customer demand schedules.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure the projects are delivered on time.
• Manage the project handover from NPI into production.
• Sourcing new suppliers and processes.
• Manage customer relationships and expectations in relation to project delivery.
• Ensure project documentation is kept up to date.
• Provide support and guidance to the production team.
• Collecting various quotations from the supply chain.
• Creating and managing relationships with the supply chain.
• Find the most cost-effective secondary processes.
• Managing the cross functional teams to ensure project delivery is on time.

The Person

• Highly motivated individual.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within project management or similar role.
• Excellent communicator with experience of talking to customers.
• Ability to manage own time and workload effectively.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Experience of working in an engineering environment is desired but not essential.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience talking with customers.
• Ability to manage all aspects of project delivery across all functional teams within the business
