Job Description

This is a broad, hands-on role at the heart of a growing organisation with around 170 employees. You will be EdenServ’s principal HR professional, providing practical advice to managers and helping us deliver our People Strategy. Your work will cover employee relations, workforce planning, organisational change, recruitment, learning, management development and wider organisational development.

You will coach managers through people issues, support formal casework and consultation, keep policies clear and up to date, and use workforce information to spot risks and improve decisions. You will also shape practical approaches to competence, training, career pathways and succession planning, working closely with operational and corporate colleagues. Transactional HR administration is outsourced, so your primary focus will be professional advice, sound judgement and building managers’ capability.

This is a key role with the scope to shape EdenServ’s people approach as the organisation develops. You will work closely with senior leaders and managers across operational and professional services, in a varied role where your advice and judgement will make a visible difference.

The role is primarily site-based, working across our Honiton and Greendale locations, although some hybrid working is possible.
