Helpdesk Engineer
Rushden | £35,000–£45,000 | Permanent | Full-Time
Engineering knowledge + problem solving + customer support = your next move!
A growing technical services team is looking for an experienced Helpdesk Engineer to join their Rushden head office.
This is a key technical role supporting customers and field engineers , diagnosing faults and finding solutions across mechanical, electrical and controls systems.
What you'll be doing
Provide technical advice to customers and engineers over the phone.
Diagnose faults and troubleshoot technical issues.
Process technical jobs and identify the parts and tooling required .
Support field engineers with technical advice and guidance.
Work closely with the Customer Service and Engineering teams .
Use internal systems to manage and progress technical jobs.
Help improve processes, reduce downtime and get issues resolved quickly.

-Strong, varied engineering knowledge – mechanical, electrical & controls
-Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving ability
-Confident and professional with customers
-IT confident and comfortable using systems daily
-A team player who enjoys working collaboratively
-Based within a commutable distance of Rushden
