Job Purpose Undertake audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, from planning to completion
Allocate audit work in the field and the office
Prepare and review of statutory accounts
Prepare tax computations when relevant to audit assignments
Work closely with clients to build trusted relationships, being their go-to person for support
Deliver a strong commercial awareness, reviewing opportunities for fee development
Confidently present work to Partners, completing files to a high standard
Underpin audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance
Delegate work to and mentor an audit team, supporting their learning and development
Represent the firm at networking opportunities and support the provision of marketing and sales services

The Successful Applicant ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified with demonstrable experience in UK practice
A wealth of experience leading audits from planning to completion
Skilled in accounts preparation and leading all commercial aspects of portfolio management
Proven track record of managing a team of accountants
Excellent work ethic and hands-on approach
Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress
Excellent communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
Strong awareness of current affairs and emerging trends
A can-do attitude and a proactive problem solver
A natural relationship builder
Commercial awareness and business acumen
