We are a global manufacturer with sites across the UK - supported by our regional IT function from our UK flagship plant We currently have an opportunity to join our IT Function at our Flagship plant in Golborne (WA3) - Easily Access via East Lancs / M6 Purpose of job/mission:

• Provide responsive first-line and second-line IT support to UK employees through ServiceNow, telephone, email, remote support tools and face-to-face assistance. Take day-to-day ownership of the helpdesk queue by logging, triaging, prioritising, resolving and escalating incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
• Deliver visible, hands-on IT support at the employee's assigned site and provide planned support visits to other UK locations when required. Install, configure, maintain and securely manage workplace technology, including computers, mobile devices, telephony, printers, scanners and network-connected equipment. Maintain reliable access to corporate services while following ALPLA security, operational and documentation standards. Work closely with UK IT, Regional IT, Corporate IT, site management, business users, suppliers and equipment manufacturers. This role will be based at our Golborne site, but will service all UK sites Tasks & responsibilities (not limited to) Onsite support Helpdesk management Computer deployment and lifecycle Mobile device management Microsoft 365 and collaboration Network and support Skills/Experience: Preferably up to 12 months experience within a 1st line support role within a medium to large organization
• Multi-Site experience would be distinct advantage (confident with remote access support) Motivated and enthusiastic individual with a positive and problem-solving approach to tasks.
