Solutions Architect - Cyber Security

Job Title: Solution Architect (IAM) (Edgewing)
The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems site (preferably Frimley) but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. A financial support package may be available to enable this assignment if required, dependent on certain criteria being met. Due to the nature of this assignment, we envisage there will be a need for mostly on site working, however, flexible working arrangements may be possible – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role.

As a Solution Architect (IAM), you’ll be responsible for defining and evolving Identity and Access Management solutions that support the organisation’s security, compliance and operational requirements. Working closely with Product Owners, Cyber Security specialists, Enterprise Architects and delivery teams, you’ll ensure IAM solutions are secure, scalable and aligned to business objectives .
You’ll provide architectural leadership across authentication, authorisation, identity governance and access management , helping to protect business-critical systems while supporting the organisation’s wider security strategy.
Define and maintain IAM policies, standards and architectural principles to support secure and consistent access management
Support the implementation of authentication, authorisation, identity governance and access control capabilities
Provide architectural guidance to engineering and operations teams throughout design, build and deployment activities
Work closely with Product Owners, Cyber Security specialists and Enterprise Architects to ensure IAM solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements
Experience in Solution Architecture, Identity and Access Management or Cyber Security environments
Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture principles , encryption, digital certificates and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
