Our MOCVD systems are used to produce (opto) electronics for 5G, fibre communications, lasers, LEDs for displays and power electronics for electric vehicles and chargers.At AIXTRON you will benefit from a strong work-life balance with hybrid working, a flexible working environment, as well as great development opportunities!The Role:As a key member of a multi-disciplinary team within our modern Engineering department, the Technical Project Manager will coordinate design activities related to the development of next-generation MOCVD products. You will be responsible for the entire project planning, ensuring that the product specifications are met, ensuring that all documentation is completed meeting the relevant market requirements whilst supporting with the generation and review of these design-related documents.Your Responsibilities:Act as a Technical lead and coordinate all engineering activities related to product development, utilizing AIXTRON’s established Product Development Processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including the parent company in Germany to ensure alignment and efficient project execution occasional travel requiredProvide technical guidance and expertise in product design and development.Oversee the application of cutting-edge engineering solutions to enhance product performance and efficiencyEnsure that all engineering outputs adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirementsFacilitate rigorous testing protocols and validation of new developmentsYour Profile:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or equivalent qualification/experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project).Experience with ISO 9001 processes.Demonstrated - Supervisory and/or Project Management experienceStrong leadership abilities with a track record of managing engineering teamsAccurate, thorough, consistent, pro-active, assertiveExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partnersProficient in project management tools and methodologiesAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentJira/ConfluenceVacuum systems, pneumatics, gas systems, and automationUse of simulation tools (FEA etc)Experience in Design for Manufacture and in use of ERP systems (SAP) preferredProfessional registration with a relevant engineering body is encouragedWe offer:Office/Lab based role at AIXTRON Ltd30 days annual leaveFlexible working hours and hybrid workingProgressive training and development strategy
