Main Responsibilities as a Compliance Manager
Review SOX control evidence for completeness and compliance.
Organise the collection and custody of control evidence for SOX audits.
Manage SOX audits and conduct annual reviews to ensure compliance with SOX controls.
Organise and manage the audit process with divisional internal and external audit.
Review and standardise controls to simplify and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the controls in the shared services.
Maintain routine communication, feedback, and reports to the SSC management team on the effectiveness of the SSC controls.
Proactively detect ethical violations, compliance issues and implement remediation.
Plan in accordance with SSC management team.
Ensure that changes to governance requirements are communicated to all those affected within shared services and amongst businesses.
Experience & Skills Required
Fully Qualified Accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACMA or international equivalent.
Current experience working in audit.
Experience in a governance function or compliance role.
Exposure to Sarbanes Oxley requirements and US GAAP standards.
