We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to head a team of policy specialists and drive the successful delivery of an ambitious programme of work. This role will lead policy development, oversee complex programmes and projects, and ensure delivery against organisational priorities.
A key aspect of the role will be championing a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture, fostering collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement across the team.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
As part of this role, there will be a requirement to work 1 days per month from our Cardiff office. Additional attendance may be required , for example, for key meetings, training, events, or to support service delivery. Applicants should ensure they are able to meet this requirement. Office attendance expectations may be reviewed in line with organisational and service needs.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The salary scale shown is for a full-time member of staff, with the amount being adjusted pro rata for those working less than 37.5 hours per week.
In general, anyone joining our Trust who has not previously worked in the NHS will, by default, start on the first point of the advertised pay band. Pay progression will then be determined by annual Performance and Development Reviews in accordance with the NHS Wales Pay Progression Policy . An application for Incremental Credit may be considered, but can only be awarded based on evidenced, reckonable service and/or equivalent, relevant experience.
