About the role
Working any 5 in 7, 40 hours per week as the Transport Operator, we will offer you the opportunity to drive improvement towards delivering a first-class service to our customers whilst ensuring all deliveries and collections are on time.
You will be responsible for:
Customer Communication
Vehicle Defect Management and coordination of repairs
Assisting with Transport Compliance
Communicating with drivers via telematics systems
engage and actively build relationships with our customers to ensure repeat business
liaising with various stakeholders and dealing with any queries with may arise
Tracking vehicles and associated problem solving
About you
We are seeking candidates with previous experience in a Transport Office, although this is not mandatory. The ideal candidate will possess a positive "Can Do" attitude, capable of fostering positive relationships with both office staff and drivers. Being a team player, approachable, and friendly are essential qualities, as we value a modern culture where every team member is appreciated for their contributions. Holding a CPCTM (Certificate of Professional Competence in Transport Management) would be an advantage but not essential. If you thrive in a collaborative environment where your efforts are recognized and valued, we encourage you to apply.
