Main Purpose The post holder will be required to oversee the production operations. You'll ensure that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. Essential Duties · Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees (Small team of 4 operatives) · Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules· Oversee and train employees· Ensure the safe use of equipment and regular maintenance is scheduled· Check production output according to requirements · report on performance and progress· Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements· Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedure· Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards Requirements · Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role· Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools· Organizational and leadership abilities· Communication and interpersonal skills· Self-motivated with a results-driven approach· Problem-solving skills· To actively lead the implementation of H&S Policy and Management System· Operate FLT - counter balance - Licence required (some flexibility on this)
