Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Children In Care and Care Leaver Team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children in care and care leavers, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support to children in care and care leavers.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate services and resources.
Advocate for the best interests of children and ensure their rights are upheld.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior social workers within the team.
Maintain accurate case records, reports, and documentation in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and best practices in social work.
Qualifications:
A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
Registered SWE
Substantial experience in social work, particularly in the context of children in care and care leavers.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
