Job Description

Brook Street Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing logistics business in Bradford to recruit an experienced Transport Administrator.

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive transport professional to join a busy transport operation, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of deliveries, collections, driver administration and customer communications across the UK and Europe.

Monday to Friday

Full time Perm position

Location: BD12

Hours: 9:00- 5:30pm

Salary on offer: Between £30,000 - £34,000 DOE!

As Transport Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administration support to the Transport and Planning teams, ensuring deliveries and collections are accurately processed while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

You'll act as a key point of contact for drivers, customers and internal departments, helping to keep operations running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Managing transport administration and daily operational paperwork

Updating transport, trailer and fleet tracking spreadsheets

Processing delivery documentation, PODs and collection notes

Booking deliveries and collections via phone and email

Liaising with customers regarding delivery schedules and delays

Supporting drivers and processing transport documentation at the traffic window

Communicating with UK and international drivers

Assisting with second-run planning and transport scheduling

Supporting planning activities during periods of holiday or absence

Maintaining driver files, agency driver records and compliance documentation
