Band 6 Occupational Therapist (OT) - (medical, surgical, orthopaedics, neuro)
To assess and treat own caseload of patients within the defined clinical area and maintains associated records
• To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner within your area of specialty
• Facilitates and supports the discharge planning process
• Supervises less experienced physiotherapists, therapy assistants / technicians and students.
• To work flexibly across specialties when requested, and if competency allows
Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Acute Inpatient Rotation
Competency to carry out b4 level Physiotherapy assessment between physio and OT
Driving license and access to a car to travel between sites and community settings
Documented evidence of CPD
18 month to 2 years of post-qualification experience
